Your Prep Shouldn't Be Corporate.
It Should Be Expert.

“I've personally analyzed every officially released exam and Q-Bank question, and after 20 years of tutoring, I know exactly where students get stuck — it's rarely because they don't know the science. It's because nobody trained them to navigate dense passages, decode what the question stem is actually asking, and extract the right data under pressure. That's why I built DoctorMCAT.”

Every question, explanation, and study guide on this platform reflects two decades of real tutoring results — the same methodology behind an average +16 point score increase. No content mill. No anonymous writers. Just one expert who has personally guided hundreds of students to 515+.

The System Behind 515+

Three pillars. One methodology. Built from 20 years of real tutoring data.

1 Real-Exam Practice
2 AI Error Analysis
3 Oxford-PhD Strategy

Deconstruct Your Mistakes

The MCAT tests logic, not memorization. Our AI analyzes your wrong answers across every section to discover why you fell for the distractor — whether you misread the passage, over-generalized, or rushed under pressure.

Eliminate Trap Answers

Stop reading text explanations and hoping you'll remember. Get real-time feedback that exposes your personal blind spots and rewires how you approach each question type.

Accelerate Your Score

Stop wasting hours re-reading concepts you already know. Focus 100% of your energy on changing the test-taking habits that cost you points — and turn missed questions into guaranteed points.

10,000+ Questions Built to Think Like the Real Exam

Every question tests the same reasoning skills as test day — passage analysis, data interpretation, and multi-step logic — not just content recall. 12 full-length tests (including 2 elite for 520+), 7,500+ Q-Bank items, and detailed explanations. Written by an Oxford PhD who has personally analyzed every officially released exam.

Know Exactly Where You Stand

Topic-level strengths and weaknesses, full-length score trends, predicted MCAT score, and a high-yield study plan that targets your biggest gaps — not everyone else's.

CARS Daily Practice

One timed passage per day with streak tracking. Build the reading stamina and analytical speed that CARS demands — the section most students struggle with and can't improve through memorization.

4,000+ Cloze Flashcards

Spaced repetition with cloze deletions across 206 decks — covering biochemistry, biology, psychology, sociology, physics, and organic chemistry — built from topics that actually appear on test day.

An AI Tutor That Finds Your Mistakes

Every question comes with a built-in AI tutor. It doesn’t just tell you the right answer — it identifies why you picked the wrong one and teaches you how to avoid the same mistake next time.

Ask follow-up questions, request a simpler explanation, or explore related concepts. It’s like having Dr. Donnelly available 24/7.

AI TutorQuestion 17 — Enzyme Kinetics

I picked “competitive inhibitor” because the Lineweaver-Burk plot showed Vmax stayed the same. But the answer says uncompetitive. Why?

Good instinct to look at Vmax — but you fell for a common trap. Let me break it down:

What you noticed: Vmax appears unchanged on the plot. In competitive inhibition, Vmax is unchanged — so your logic makes sense at first glance.

What you missed: Look at the y-intercept of the Lineweaver-Burk plot. In the inhibited curve, both the slope AND the y-intercept changed. That’s the signature of uncompetitive inhibition — both Km and Vmax decrease proportionally.

The takeaway: On a Lineweaver-Burk plot, uncompetitive inhibitors produce parallel lines (same slope, different intercepts). Competitive inhibitors change the slope but keep the same y-intercept.

Oh! So parallel lines = uncompetitive, different slopes meeting at y-axis = competitive?

Exactly. And lines meeting on the x-axis = noncompetitive. Memorize those three patterns and you’ll never miss an inhibition question again.

Real Students. Real Results.

Our students don't just study harder — they study smarter. With personalized analytics, AI tutoring, and expert-crafted questions, DoctorMCAT students consistently outperform expectations on test day.

My daughter scored an amazing 527! Her school is actually going to present her with an award since this is the highest MCAT score ever recorded by a student in the history of Duke University. His strategies really helped her deal with the awkward structure of the exam, and her CARS score improved tremendously.

Nancy E.Parent — Duke University527

I ended up getting a 130 on CARS and a 525 overall. He really taught me how to understand and approach the MCAT in a way I hadn't been previously. Running out of time was always an issue for me; however with Dr. Donnelly's method and materials, I was able to increase my speed immensely!

Sophia D.Wellesley, MA525

I came to him in desperate need of a strategy to improve my CARS score, which had been stuck at 121/122 for months. Stuart's unique approach is totally unlike Kaplan, which had failed miserably. On the actual test, I ended up scoring 129 — up an amazing 7 points!

Denisse D.Manhattan, NY129 CARS

I came to him just three weeks before my exam in desperate need of a strategy to improve my CARS score. In just three lessons, I jumped 30 percentiles in my practice exams and ultimately scored in the 95th percentile on the MCAT.

Jenn F.Manhattan, NY95th %ile

Dr. Donnelly tailored every lesson to my learning style. His strategies helped me raise my MCAT score by 17 points to a 523 — a perfect 132 on Bio and near-perfect on everything else.

Vismaya S.Colorado523

I got a 514 — 91st percentile! CARS 129 (95th %ile) and Psych 131 (99th %ile). Dr. Donnelly's strategies made all the difference. Now finishing my 2nd year of internal medicine residency at NYU!

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before getting started.

Is DoctorMCAT really free?+
Yes. The free plan gives you 1 full-length practice test, 100 Q-Bank questions, all 4,000+ flashcard decks, 29 study guides, CARS daily practice, a diagnostic assessment, and performance analytics. No credit card required. Upgrade to Pro ($29/mo) for unlimited access to all 12 tests, 10,000+ questions, and the AI tutor.
How is this different from UWorld, Kaplan, or Blueprint?+
Three ways. First, every question and explanation was written by a single Oxford PhD with 20+ years of MCAT tutoring — not a corporate content team. Second, the AI tutor doesn't just explain the right answer — it identifies why YOU picked the wrong one and teaches you to avoid that reasoning trap next time. Third, the price: most platforms charge $300–$2,000. DoctorMCAT starts free and Pro is $29/month.
Who writes the questions?+
Dr. Stuart Donnelly — an Oxford PhD with 20+ years of MCAT tutoring experience. Every question, explanation, and study guide on the platform reflects his methodology. This isn't crowdsourced content or AI-generated filler. It's the same material that has produced students scoring 527, 525, and 523.
How does the AI tutor work?+
After every question, the AI tutor analyzes your specific answer and identifies your reasoning error. It doesn't just say 'the answer is B' — it says 'you picked A because you confused competitive and uncompetitive inhibition at saturating substrate concentrations, and here's a rule to never make that mistake again.' You can ask follow-up questions, request simpler explanations, or explore related concepts.
Are the practice tests realistic?+
Yes. Each of the 12 full-length tests has 230 questions across 4 sections (Chem/Phys, CARS, Bio/Biochem, Psych/Soc) with the same timing and format as the real MCAT. Scores are scaled to the 472–528 range with percentile ranks based on AAMC published data.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Both Pro ($29/mo) and Premium ($49/mo) are month-to-month with no contracts. Cancel from your account settings and you keep access through the end of your billing period. The free tier never expires.
I'm a retaker. Will this help me?+
Many of Dr. Donnelly's highest-performing students were retakers. The AI tutor is especially valuable for retakers because it identifies the specific reasoning patterns causing your mistakes — not just content gaps. If you've already studied the material and are stuck at a score plateau, our platform is designed to break through it.
